Upcoming Due Dates *
5 Jun 2023 - Lodge 2021/22 Income Tax Return for all entities with a lodgement due date of 15 May 2023 if both of the following criteria are met:
non-taxable or a credit assessment in latest year lodged
non-taxable or receiving a credit assessment (i.e. tax refund) in the current year.
5 Jun 2023 - Lodge tax returns due for individuals and trusts with a lodgement due date of 15 May 2023 provided they also pay any tax liability due by this date. Although lodgement will be technically overdue, this is a concessional lodgement arrangement where failure to lodge on time (FTL) penalties will not apply if you lodge and pay by this date.
25 Jun 2023 - 2023 Fringe Benefits Tax return (lodging via a tax agent)
30 Jun 2023 - Super Guarantee contributions and personal contributions must be received by the relevant superannuation fund by this date in order to qualify for a tax deduction in the 2022–23 financial year.
30 Jun 2023 - Latest date to lodge 2021/22 Income Tax Return for recipients of Child Care Subsidy and Family Tax Benefit payments from Services Australia (and their partners), regardless of any lodgement deferrals in place.
14 Jul 2023 - End of year finalisation of wages through Single Touch Payroll (concessions apply for closely-held payees of entities with less than 20 employees)
28 Jul 2023 - Superannuation Guarantee contribution for Apr-Jun 2023
28 Jul 2023 - Quarterly PAYG Instalment for Apr-Jun 2023, including latest date to vary instalment amount
31 Jul 2023 - Lodge TFN report for closely held trusts if any beneficiary quoted their TFN to a trustee in quarter 4, 2022–23
25 Aug 2023 - Quarterly Business Activity Statement Apr-Jun 2023 (lodging via a tax agent)
28 Aug 2023 - Lodge and pay quarter 4, 2022–23 Superannuation guarantee charge statement if the employer did not pay enough contributions on time for the June quarter.
28 Aug 2023 - Taxable Payments Annual Report (payments to Contractors in specified industries)
